Therapy is not about becoming someone else or “fixing” who you are. Often, the work involves reconnecting with parts of yourself that became buried beneath adaptation, shame, fear, performance, or the pressure to survive.
Many people spend years appearing functional on the outside while privately feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, anxious, overwhelmed, or uncertain about who they really are beneath the roles and expectations they have learned to carry.
I work primarily with LGBTQ+ people exploring:
Identity & authenticity
Self-understanding
Anxiety & exhaustion
Shame, self-worth, self-criticism
Relationship patterns
Religious trauma
Loneliness, isolation, disconnection
Life transitions & questions of meaning
Trauma, grief, and emotional wounds
My approach to therapy is relational, thoughtful, and emotionally engaged rather than rigid or overly clinical. I aim to create a space where you do not have to perform, over-explain yourself, or protect parts of who you are in order to feel accepted.
Some sessions may focus on present-day relationships, emotional patterns, identity, or practical challenges, while others may involve exploring deeper experiences that continue to shape the way you relate to yourself and others today.
Healing often begins through deeper connection… to ourselves, to our emotional truth, and to relationships where we feel genuinely seen. If you are looking for a therapist who values authenticity, emotional depth, curiosity, and meaningful relational work, I invite you to reach out.
